The Dreamy Island – Cheju Do

Cheju City is an indispensable part of your travel in South Korea and became a free international city in 2001. Being
the “black pearl” in Northeast Asia, Cheju do is reputed as “East Hawaii”, louboutin which the Korean people are proud of and is a precious island in the world. Cheju do lies to the southernmost end of Korean Peninsula and is composed of 62 islands, eight of which are populated.
It has a mild sea climate and four distinct seasons in a year with annual average temperature of 16℃. Pretty rape flowers come into blossom in spring; bathing beach gives a cool enjoyment to you in summer; the red maple leaves grow out in autumn; the white snow dances in the sky in winter.
Due to its isolation from the Korean mainland, Cheju do has preserved the characteristic traditional culture and custom of its own. If you come here, you can never miss “three no”, “three beauties” and “three more” on this island. The women on the island paddle nearby the sea since their childhood so they have superb watermanship. In normal times, they work in the fields and once the catching season comes, they will go to sea to fish seafood. It would be a pleasant thing for anyone to sit on the stone with the wind blowing to the face while watching the marine girls.
A paradise for new couples
With its fresh air and blue waves, Cheju do is also known as “The Island of Fantasy”, which is well received by new couples and tourists. Its scenic spots include Dragon’s Head Rock along the coast, the Samseonghyeol holes in the downtown area, Hallasan National Park in the interior, the country’s tallest mountain (Halla Mountain), and world’s largest botanical garden Bunjae Artpia. The entire Cheju do is actually a gigantic crater with one of the most famous mountains in South Korean – Halla Mountain. Inside the crater grow a total of 420 kinds of temperate plants, subtropical plants and alpine plants.
As a result, Cheju do has become an ideal tourist and recreational attraction across the globe.
